Mosston Road widening including Fitzherbert Avenue extension
Widening Mosston Road, between Springvale Road and Titoki Street, will increase safety for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles, with a predicted 80% reduction in crashes. A single side footpath will be created linking Buxton Road to Mosston School and continuing on to Springvale Road and cycle lanes installed. The widened road will offer improved cross-town access, encourage economic and industrial development in the Mill Road area and divert traffic away from the residential sections of the Great North Road.
In addition, extending Fitzherbert Avenue through to Mosston Road will further improve access to and from this area creating a quality link road.
